The Lansdale, “Three-Way Bronze Valve” is primarily used for the installation of sprinkler system pressure gauges. The valve has one inlet (marked on the body) and two outlets. One of the outlets is usually closed off with a 1/4” plug and the other is used for the gauge. This configuration allows for the gauge to be replaced without shutting down the entire system and if necessary, a second gauge can be installed by removing the plug, which may be required by the local AHJ. This valve is also part of the Lansdale gauge kit, that comes complete with all necessary components to install a pressure gauge.
